Kate Bond: Kate fell in love with acting as a storytelling outlet when she was a homeless teenager, and has appeared on such shows as Matador, Person of Interest, and Lie to Me. Between acting jobs, Kate has worked on political campaigns and as a costume designer and stylist, and she volunteers with The Alliance for Children’s Rights, helping homeless and foster youth in the greater Los Angeles area. Kate is repped by Luber Roklin Entertainment.
Annie Ruby: Annie is thrilled to have worked with the Cam Girls cast and crew. A graduate of the USC BFA theatre program, Annie’s credits include: Theatre: Stage Door (Antaeus Classical Ensemble), The Maiden’s Prayer (Phoenix Rising Theatre), TV: Trophy Wife, Key and Peele, General Hospital, Raising Hope, Femme Fatales.
Sarah Schreiber: Sarah grew up less than 10 miles outside of NYC in Nutley, New Jersey. Her proximity to the theater capital of the world influenced her love of performing and she started acting, singing, and dancing at a very young age. Sarah has sung at such places as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. She is a proud graduate from the University of Miami with a BFA in Musical Theater. Sarah has most recently appeared on Marvel’s Agent Carter as well as Knights of Prosperity, All My Children and the feature films: Reunion and Mummy Resurrect. Sarah is a member of the sketch group Casual Mafia, with whom she performed at the Laugh Factory and Comedy Store.
David Starzyk: Born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts, David began acting while in college, first as an exercise to overcome stammering, which, he discovered, magically disappeared while on stage. He spent the next several years starring in his collegiate productions then moving back and forth from Boston to London to New York City; performing in plays by authors varying from Shakespeare to Chekhov to Hampton to David Simpatico; in musicals, comedies and dramas. David has recurring roles in episodes of: Revenge, Desperate Housewives, Hot in Cleveland, and Veronica Mars.
Charlie Hewson: Charlie is an actor, director and musician originally from Darien, Connecticut. He’s a proud Princeton Tiger who has worked in various film, television, and stage roles. His favorite parts include the villain, Phears, in Mostly Ghostly: Have You Met My Ghouldfriend? and the recurring role of FBI Probie Agent Blake in USA’s White Collar. He also wrote the score for The Prospects, an IFC feature in which he starred.
Rebecca Metz: Rebecca is currently recurring on Showtime’s Shameless opposite Emmy Rossum and Dermot Mulroney, and recently completed filming of the ABC Family pilot Recovery Road. She has appearances coming up on NCIS: Los Angeles and The Thundermans and is best known for her work with Ryan Murphy on American Horror Story: Asylum and Nip/Tuck. Rebecca played a young Margo Martindale on Person of Interest and is thrilled to work with David Slack again in his role as director.
Ava Cantrell: Ava began performing at two and a half years of age, when she first danced for an audience of hundreds. She signed with a top agent by age seven and quickly started working in Hollywood. With over 26 acting jobs under her belt, she is best known for Penelope Pritchard on Nickelodeon’s hit TV show, The Haunted Hathaways, for which she won a Young Artist Award. She has been the lead of many short films including: Expo, Cupcake, Pals and most recently Above the 101.
David Slack: David has been making stuff up for a living since 1999. After beginning his career in animation on shows like Jackie Chan Adventures and Teen Titans, David somehow made the leap from cartoons to crime procedurals. Since moving to prime time, David has served as a Writer/Producer on shows like Law & Order, Lie to Me, and Person of Interest. CAM GIRLS marks his debut as a television director. David is repped by UTA.
Joelle Garfinkel: Joelle was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. While the rest of her family found success in the steel and financial businesses, Joelle spent most of her childhood pounding away on an old typewriter. She graduated from California State University, Northridge with a B.A. in Screenwriting. During her time there, one of her scripts was featured in the university’s annual screenwriting showcase. Since graduating, Joelle has worked as an assistant for several shows including, Smallville, In Plain Sight, Lie to Me, Terra Nova, and Awake. Most recently, she worked as a development assistant to Josh Friedman, helping him develop pilots for 20th Century Fox and Universal Television. She serves as writer and executive-producer on CAM GIRLS. Joelle is repped by UTA.
